Save Our Seniors

Welcome to the Save Our Seniors page. Oftentimes, people come to shelters looking for younger dogs and cats, not realizing that seniors tend to stay in shelters for long periods of time. Senior dogs and cats are usually the best pets to adopted because they are most likely already trained and are relatively mellow. We recommend that anyone even somewhat interested in adopting a Senior Pet read over this website, known as the Senior Dog Project. This website offers wonderful insight into adopting a senior pet, as well as Frequently Asked Questions. So please consider adopting one of our senior pets. They deserve a loving home in which to live out their Golden Years!
